I think that says it all, as long as we want what we don't really need we will not be happy.

My 'job' as a tax collector puts me in contact with all sorts of people. When the McMansion people complain about their taxes I just tell them that it is a choice, if they want lower taxes they too can live in a trailer. That shuts them up every time.

I love my 'small' home and enjoy taking care of it and keeping it 'clean'. He knew priority number one was not what he lived with but who he lived for. I needed to read this today, Danica. So many times I am envious of people who have more than I. But with Christ, we are rich indeed! By the way, all of us at one time or another are "big meanies!" :0) Recognizing it is a sign of character.Robbie Iobsthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07965157577654406259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19234602.post-16503377839545777412008-10-01T07:44:00.000-06:002008-10-01T07:44:00.000-06:00My family and I live in a small home because we di...My family and I live in a small home because we didn't want a big mortgage...it has worked for us for eight years. We now have no mortgage and I just can't imagine spending so much time and effort cleaning a huge house. I count my blessings that I haven't given over my life to maintaining a gilded cage. :)Eaton Bennett aka Berenice Albrechthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15155384243916982826noreply@blogger.com
