It's not really a sequel, but a reimagining of some parts of GWTW, as seen through Rhett Butler's eyes. It adds more depth to the original, and it's just a really good book on its own.

Don't bother with "Scarlett" by Alexandra Ripley. What a mess that was.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19234602.post-14271351600920180842008-10-02T15:31:00.000-06:002008-10-02T15:31:00.000-06:00I love Like Water for Chocolate, too! Here at work I'll read a book and pass it on and by the time the next person reads the book I've forgotten all about it. Guess I just read to escape haha. My comprehension is just slow. I'm reading the Bible for the third time and still find lots of new stuff.siteseerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04695859504829821055noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19234602.post-16117838944055083692008-10-02T12:38:00.001-06:002008-10-02T12:38:00.001-06:00C.S. I just finished Mere Christianity and there were several points that he made that are very timely now, especially when you consider when he wrote it.Debbie@Like a Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07595737927336471561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19234602.post-1079431914362944402008-10-02T12:19:00.000-06:002008-10-02T12:19:00.000-06:00This is a wonderful list. When I re-read Chronicals of Narnia as an adult, it was strange how all of the Christian nuances I'd missed as a child were so obvious.

Anyway, great list.
