Discussion with my 10yo about crack

Today, we had some great mother-daughter bonding time at the grocery store. I can't remember what she was doing, but it was some kind of stupid thing kids do in stores. Hence, the following conversation:

Me: "Are you smoking crack again?"
10yo: "No!" Long pause. "I don't even know what crack is."
Me: "Good. Keep it that way."
10yo: "Is it like pot?"
Me: "Yes."

We walk a little ways, and then she stops.
10yo: "Mom? What's pot?"

    Danica, You have such a great relationship with your girls. I don't know if you realize this, but it shows in your interactions.
    I know you have your struggles but God knew that you would be the perfect mother for them.
